Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of RentalKeeper, a rental property bookkeeping app for organizing properties, tenants, transactions, categories, and tax-year summaries.
Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using RentalKeeper, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App Purpose
RentalKeeper helps you organize rental income and expenses from manual entries and user-selected CSV imports. The app is an organizational tool and is not a substitute for professional tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice.
Your Data
You are responsible for the accuracy of the properties, tenants, transactions, categories, notes, imports, and exports you create or manage in the app. Review all information before using it for tax preparation, bookkeeping, or business decisions.
Purchases and Subscriptions
RentalKeeper may offer paid features through Apple in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID.
- RentalKeeper Pro may be offered as an annual auto-renewable subscription.
- A Tax Export Pass may be offered as a one-time purchase for eligible export features.
- Prices, billing periods, free trials, and included features are shown before purchase in the app and in the App Store purchase sheet.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds
Apple handles billing and refund requests for App Store purchases. You can request a refund through Apple Support or reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple policies.
Availability and Changes
RentalKeeper may change over time, including features, pricing, supported import formats, and export capabilities. We may update these Terms of Use when needed. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
No Warranty
RentalKeeper is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every tax, legal, accounting, or financial situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or tax benefits arising from your use of RentalKeeper.
Privacy
Your use of RentalKeeper is also covered by the RentalKeeper Privacy Policy.
