• Date and Time: When the event is scheduled

Important: This information is passed through the URL and stored only on your device. We do not collect or store this data on any server.

2.2 Location Data

ShowUpBooster uses location data solely to display the event location on a map within the app. This data:

• Is provided as coordinates in the event invitation URL
• Is processed only on your device
• Is NOT tracked, collected, or transmitted to our servers
• Does NOT access your current location
• Is used only for displaying the event location on the map

2.3 Notification Preferences

When you confirm attendance at an event, the app requests permission to send you notifications. Your notification preferences are:

• Stored locally on your device
• Managed by iOS system settings
• Never transmitted to our servers
• Under your complete control

2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect

ShowUpBooster does NOT collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information
• Email addresses (unless voluntarily provided in event details)

• Device identifiers

3. How We Use Information

3.1 Event Display

Event information from the URL is used to:

• Display event details (title, address, date/time)
• Show the event location on an interactive map
• Allow you to confirm your attendance

3.2 Reminder Notifications

When you confirm attendance, we schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about the event:

• 24 hours before the event
• 2 hours before the event
• 30 minutes before the event

These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any server communication.

3.3 Status Updates

Your status updates (Running Late, Can't Make It) are stored only on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage Only

All data is stored exclusively on your device using:

• iOS UserDefaults for temporary data
• iOS Notification Center for scheduled reminders
• No cloud storage
• No remote servers
• No databases

4.2 Data Retention

Event data persists on your device only as long as needed:

• Event details remain until you close the App Clip
• Scheduled notifications remain until the event occurs or you cancel them
• You can delete all data by canceling your attendance or uninstalling the app

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. Since we don't collect or store data on servers, there is nothing to share. Your information stays on your device.

5.1 No Third-Party Services

ShowUpBooster does not use:

• Analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Third-party SDKs
• Cloud storage services

5.2 Apple Services

The app uses standard Apple frameworks:

• MapKit: For displaying event locations (no data transmitted to Apple beyond standard map tile requests)
• UserNotifications: For local notifications (processed entirely on device)

6. Your Rights and Controls

6.1 Access and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• View Data: All event information is visible in the app interface
• Delete Data: Cancel attendance or close the app to remove event data
• Notification Control: Manage notifications through iOS Settings → Notifications → ShowUpBooster
• Complete Removal: Uninstall the app to remove all local data

6.2 Notification Permissions

You can revoke notification permissions at any time:

7. Security

7.1 Data Protection

We implement security best practices:

• No Server Storage: Your data never leaves your device, eliminating server breach risks

• iOS Sandbox: App data is protected by iOS security sandbox
• No Authentication: No passwords or accounts to compromise

7.2 URL Security

Event invitation URLs may contain event details. If you receive an event link:

• Only share it with intended attendees
• URLs are not secret - anyone with the link can view event details
• Consider using private messaging for sensitive events

8. Children's Privacy

ShowUpBooster does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general use and does not require age verification since no personal data is collected or stored on servers.
